THE POISE PROJECT® is honored to announce that we are the recipient of our second grant from the Alzheimer's Foundation of America. This 2021 Bi-Annual AFA Spring Grant supports the expansion of our Alexander technique based program "PARTNERING WITH POISE: CARING FOR THE CARE PARTNER" - EMBODIED AGENCY FOR CARE PARTNERS OF PEOPLE LIVING WITH ALZHEIMER’S & RELATED DEMENTIAS" to online delivery via Zoom for the first time!

With our 2019 AFA Bi-Annual Spring Grant, we successfully delivered our course at two sites in North Carolina to care partners of people living with Alzheimer’s and related dementias.  We will use our 2021 AFA Bi-Annual Spring Grant to fund two ten-week Partnering with Poise courses using an innovative online delivery format via Zoom in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Participants will be recruited broadly from along the East Coast, but with special emphasis on the Mid-Atlantic region. The courses will be free to participants.

For more information and to register, please contact The Poise Project at info@thepoiseproject.org or 828-254-3102.
