THE POISE PROJECT: alexander technique for the 21st century

Our Mission is maintaining poise and personal growth throughout all stages and challenges of life using the principles of Alexander technique (AT).

Our Mission is realized through promotion of the profession, creation of programs adapted for specific populations and industries, and support of cutting edge research in the field.

We use a coordinated team approach uniting individuals who have benefited from AT, industry expert advocates, and AT professionals.

150th Birthday Fundraiser!

January 20, 2019 is Alexander technique founder FM Alexander’s 150th birthday.

And 2019 is going to be a year of great expansion for The Poise Project.

After two and a half years of dedicated effort and tremendous success, we will now raise the financial resources to take our project to a higher level.

AT has spanned three centuries. We will make the 21st century the one where AT principles finally reach all who can benefit.
