The Poise Project receives 2020-2021 $15,000 Parkinson's Foundation Community Impact grant

THE POISE PROJECT® is honored to announce that we are the recipient of our fifth grant from the Parkinson's Foundation. This 2020-2021 Southeast Community Impact Grant for $15,000 supports the expansion of our program "POISED FOR PARKINSON’S" - ALEXANDER TECHNIQUE (AT) FOR PEOPLE LIVING WITH PARKINSON'S AND THEIR CARE PARTNERS" at four new sites in North Carolina and - for the first time - in South Carolina.

Our Fall 2020 course will serve NC Coastal area residents (Monday & Thursdays from 10:30am-12:15pm, from September 24-November 23, 2020.)

Winter 2021 course will serve SC Coastal area residents (Monday’s & Thursdays from 2:00pm-3:45pm from January 18-March 18, 2021).

In the Spring 2021, starting in April, there will be classes happening in the Fayetteville NC area and the Greenville/Spartanburg SC area.
